BDL/WYBL Basketball Team Tryout Registration
Register to tryout for a 2026-2027 Badger Development League (BDL) and/or (Boys Only) Wisconsin Youth Basketball League (WYBL) youth basketball team. Open to students currently in 4th through 8th grades. We are hoping to have teams in 4th-8th grade this year (with 8-10 players per team ideally). Rosters will be determined through tryouts, which our West Basketball Staff will help evaluate. New this year: we will be taking an 8th grade BOYS team to play in the WYBL - Premier League. This is a highly competitive league out of the Milwaukee area. We will cap this roster at 10 athletes.
NOTE: Parents/Guardians are responsible for transporting their player(s) to all practices and games. BDL teams will play games within 1 hour of Madison. The WYBL team will play games in the Milwaukee-area. If the student makes a team, you are committing to this transportation requirement. [Coaches and the RYSP Director will try their best to work with parents on carpooling options.]
Cost $250.00 (scholarships available upon request) [total cost will be refunded if student does not make a team]
Tryout Dates - All tryouts will be held at West High School (enter via the Athletics entrance on Regent Street)
All players are highly encouraged to attend both sessions, but we understand commitments and other activities happen. If you are unable to attend both sessions (or tryouts in general), please let us know: regentyouthsports@gmail.com).

Session #2: Sunday, October 11th from 10:30am-11:45am
